Electric Mobility Management Application
Unified Electric Mobility Management for CPOs, eMSPs, and Network Hubs Open standards. Vendor-agnostic. Built for scale.
EMMA powers electric mobility interoperability across Portugal by enabling seamless communication between eMSPs, CPOs, and national hubs such as MOBI.E
With EMMA, CPOs achieve operational unification without infrastructure replacement. Scale your network, not your complexity. Manage every station, every session, every tariff from one platform designed for interoperability, not dependency.
Multi-Vendor Station Management
Manage charging stations from multiple manufacturers using standard OCPP protocols.
Roaming & Interoperability
Enable EV drivers to charge across networks through OCPI integration.
Real-Time Session Management
Monitor sessions, receive CDRs, and track token status across your network.
Tariff Management
Define and manage pricing structures for public and private charging locations.
MOBI.E Integration
Native integration with Portugal's national eMobility network.
Ad-Hoc Payment Integration
Connect charging points with payment brokers for seamless transactions.
One backend. Every role. CPO, eMSP, Hub, deploy what you need, when you need it.
FEATURES
EMMA operates as a modular ecosystem with four core modules: CPO Module for charging station infrastructure management, eMSP Module for commercial operations and customer token management, Hub Module for market-wide interoperability, and Enterprise Module for private network management. A white-label mobile app completes the driver experience.
Open protocols. Zero lock-in. Built for interoperability, not dependency.
TECHNOLOGY
EMMA is built on OCPI 2.2 for market interoperability (Locations, Sessions, CDRs, Tariffs, Tokens, Commands, Charging Profiles) and OCPP 1.6/2.0.1 for charging station communication. Cloud-native architecture supports SaaS or on-premise deployment with API-first integration.
Designed for the electric mobility ecosystem.
PLATFORM ARCHITECTURE
EMMA enables communication and operational coordination between the key actors in electric mobility:
eMSP – Electric Mobility Service Providers
CPO – Charging Point Operators
EV drivers and charging customers
Roaming hubs and national mobility platforms
The platform standardizes the communication and information flow between these stakeholders, ensuring efficient network operation and seamless charging experiences for EV users.
Why EMMA?
ADVANTAGES VS SIMILAR SOLUTIONS
01. Protocol-First, Not Vendor-First
Built natively on OCPP and OCPI standards, EMMA avoids vendor lock-in by design
02. True Modularity, No Forced Bundles
Scale or adapt without paying for features you do not need or being trapped in monolithic platforms.
03. Proven at National Scale, Not a Pilot
The Hub Module powers MOBI.E, Portugal’s national eMobility network
